The Whole House Let
Bossington Hall can be taken exclusively for private use — the entire Grade II listed house, nine bedrooms, eight acres of grounds, the Grand Hall, the sauna, the tennis and squash courts, the honesty bar and The Nook, all yours for the duration of your stay.
It is a setting that suits a particular kind of occasion: a landmark birthday, a significant anniversary, a family reunion where three generations need to be under one roof and everyone deserves a proper bedroom. The house has hosted 60th and 70th birthday celebrations, family gatherings of up to 27 guests, American Senators, Grannies, murder-mystery groups and group stays where the memory of the place becomes as much a part of the occasion as the event itself.
The Grand Hall — the heart of the house — seats up to 45 guests for dinner and has hosted everything from formal banquets to relaxed family suppers. For a truly special evening, a private chef can be arranged on request.
Capacity & Booking
The minimum let is 3 nights, with the four front-facing rooms sleeping 8 as the base booking. Up to five further rooms can be added in sequence to reach the full house, sleeping up to 18 on a B&B basis. For larger groups, additional accommodation sleeps a further 9 guests, bringing total capacity to 27. Longer stays, Christmas and New Year bookings are available on a self-catering basis — please contact us to discuss.
Payment terms: 10% non-refundable deposit on booking, full balance due 30 days prior to arrival.

What’s Included
Every room is equipped with 1,000+ pocket sprung pillow-topped beds, luxury microfibre duvet and pillows, Cole & Lewis toiletries, bath sheets and robes, compostable slippers, hairdryer, USB charging sockets, Starlink WiFi, three-way wireless phone charging, 43″ or 50″ flatscreen Smart TV, and blackout blinds or curtains. Iron and ironing board available on request.
Dogs are welcome in Embercombe and Martinhoe (£20 surcharge per stay). Connecting and twin room configurations are available.
