Driving directions:
Google or Apple Map search “Bossington Hall”. Located just outside Porlock, Minehead, West Somerset near the Devon border
from the East (London / Bristol) M5 Jcn 23 Bridgwater. Follow A39 signposted Minehead. Continue through Minehead towards Porlock. About 5 miles after Minehead you pass through Allerford Village, with a large yellow house on a sharp left bend. Turn Right here into the village. Pass the pretty stone bridge, and continue along the (narrow) country road for 1/2 a mile. Look on your right for a large white sign beside a bridge. Cross the bridge and the Hall is on your right.
From the West (Devon / Cornwall) Follow the A39 Atlantic Way through Lynton towards Minehead and Porlock. Beware Porlock hill is long and steep – use low gear! Go through porlock, and as the road goes back up hill with a sharp right bend, take the straight on road signposted Allerford / Bossington. Follow this for about a mile, just after a Methodist Chruch on the left is a village triangle, turn right, crossing a small bridge.. 100 yards along here, past the first bridge on your left is the White sign on a second bridge for Bossington Hall. Turn across the bridge and the entrance is well signposted.
