Bossington Hall

Private Sauna & Wellness at Bossington Hall

After a day exploring Exmoor or the coast path, there are few better ways to unwind than an hour in our private sauna. Set apart from the main house, our wellness suite is a calm, unhurried space reserved exclusively for our guests.

The cedar-lined sauna is beautifully equipped for a restorative experience, featuring aromatic herbs, Bluetooth speakers, low-level lighting, fluffy robes, and a fresh water cooler. For an authentic Nordic cool-down, we even have a snow machine that produces fine, soft snow.

How to Book Your Session

The sauna operates on a private, self-serve basis from 10AM to 8PM daily. To guarantee total seclusion, sessions are limited to one room at a time. Please use the live calendar below to secure your private 1-hour slot.

Our latest room rates include one complimentary 1-hour private session per day. For legacy bookings or additional daily sessions, use of the suite is £15 per hour.

Massage & Holistic Treatments

To complete your retreat, a small group of expert local practitioners offer professional massage and therapy treatments directly from the wellness suite on specific days. Each therapist operates independently and manages their own schedule; please contact them directly using the details below to arrange a paid treatment.

Our massage therapists

KellyAnne — Massage Therapist

I am a qualified massage therapist, and love what I do with a great passion. I worked hard to train and qualify, and my main goal is to pass on pure relaxation and peace to you, your body and your mind. Total tranquillity is my goal.

Many people nowadays focus on their internal and physical health but overlook other systems — their skin, their bloodstream and its circulation. Massage can work wonders for all of these. The skin is the largest organ of the body, and working with it is another passion of mine. It deserves our attention.

I love my job and my passion burns bright. I enjoy working with all skin types and all people. Meeting new clients is a wonderful thing to experience each day. I offer an individual package tailored to each person, as no two bodies or skin types are the same. Your session with me is always about you and your inner peace.

Charlotte — Complementary Health Therapist & Meditation Teacher

I embarked on the journey of becoming a complementary health therapist and meditational teacher driven by a profound sense of compassion after experiencing my own illness. My genuine concern for the wellbeing of others fuelled my desire to offer holistic healing experiences.

As a meditational teacher, I am dedicated to imparting the transformative benefits of mindfulness, helping individuals navigate their inner landscapes with serenity. My heightened intuition guides my therapeutic approach, allowing me to connect on a deeper level with the unique needs of each person. This intuitive insight, coupled with my refined Reiki skills, empowers me to channel healing energy that goes beyond the physical, fostering a profound sense of balance.

I have woven together the threads of meditation, Reiki and complementary therapies to create Serenity Therapy Studio — a nurturing space where others can embark on their own transformative wellness journey.

Ian — Sports & Holistic Massage Therapist

My love of sport, especially running, guided me into a career in massage therapy. An introduction to yoga has increased my awareness of how well the body responds to deep static stretching when incorporated into training. As a distance runner, I have been able to integrate first-hand knowledge of common tension sites into my treatment methods, for both sporting and everyday life stressors.

I hold membership of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and have diplomas in holistic massage, clinical sport and remedial massage therapy. While studying, I became more aware of how beneficial massage is — not just for those participating in sport, but for those dealing with the stresses of everyday life.

I have been qualified for more than five years and have developed an extensive knowledge and understanding of the human body that enables me to treat clients with a variety of health needs.
