Guy and Annie met just before the Pandemic. Annie, born and bred in Exmoor, has been working in Hospitality most of her life, starting as a glasses collector in the pub aged 15, through chef school, to running a smaller B&B. Guy is at the other end of the spectrum, having been a design engineer moved to Porlock in 2007 – but his family have been in various parts of Somerset for over 500 years – and his great grandmother (sort of) invented Cheddar Cheese ! Together, the Ying Yang effect seems to work, creating a beautiful, functional and exceptional B&B. The philosophy of our approach is ‘would we like that?’
